Creamy, sweet, and simple dish that your child will love for breakfast.
Yields: 10 oz
Ingredients
2 cups whole milk
3.5 TB rice
1 TB sugar
4 oz fresh fruit
Directions
1Combine milk, rice, and sugar in heavy bottomed sauce pan and cook over medium heat until boiling.
2Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer, and cover. Cook for 30-35 minutes, stirring in between.
3Stir in fresh fruit (chopped to a size your little one can handle), and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
4Enjoy!
- When the rice pudding is done, if you desire a bit more liquid, add in 1-2 TB of cold milk. This will not only cool the pudding down for your little one to start eating right away, but will also add a bit more liquid.
