Ingredients

flax seeds crushed

chia seeds crushed

hemp seeds crushed

mixed nuts crushed (almonds, pecans, walnuts, brazil nuts)

dried mixed berries (goji, red berries, blue berries, raisins, cranberries)

4 tbsp Almond flour

Saffron (2-3 threads)

1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (if steel cut oats used then cook longer)

1 TBSP coconut oil

1 cup organic 2% milk

Dried Dates (cubed)

fresh fruit (optional)

Directions

1All the ingredients that are mentioned as "crushed" are crushed in a coffee grinder. Blender can be used as well.

2Start with coconut oil on medium heat.

3Add almond flour. Let it brown.

4Add milk and oatmeal.

5Add the rest of the ingredients.

6Let it cook on low heat until oatmeal is fully cooked.

I usually make this batch for the week (5 days worth) so I can have it for breakfast at work. I try to introduce all ingredients that are more prone to cause an allergy in the baby through my breast milk.
